This morning, the automated BBC channel for Children showed a 12 year old edition of Tweenies which included a character who looked like Jimmy Savile. BBC apologized in news bulletins and said it wouldn't be repeated. I have heard several comedy programmes on Radio 4 Extra in the past which have contained take offs of Jim'Fix It. Hope they won't be chucked out en masse in the haste to de-sanitize the Beeb from anything Savile related. He was a horrible, horrible man. But let's get on with working on a better future than trying to protect us from the past.

Rewriting History - Desanitizing Savile
